Mission statement

• Provide LAN services which will allow all microcomputers on Campus access to a local area network server
• Provide printing services which will allow all microcomputers in a building access to printing services
• Provide LAN server applications that will allow users to use electronic mail, have their files backed up, protect their data from viruses, provide them access to the backbone, etc.
• Provide open-area LAN services and software to support instructional and research computing.
  Provide CD-ROM databases and services to the university community
• Provide microcomputer training facilities to the university community
